Aula Extensión Universitaria has organized this lecture for Thursday, October 16, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., led by Francisco Camps Palou, architect-urban planner from the UPC Barcelona Tech and coordinator of the Culture Department of the College of Architects of Catalonia. The activity of architects has always been understood as the task of constructing buildings, planning cities, and defining public spaces, although on many occasions, the commitment to their work goes much further. On Thursday, July 3, 2025, the Vallhonrat auditorium will host, as usual, the presentation of Bulletin No. 90, organized by the Rubí Museum Collaborators Group (GCMR), where Josep Milá Albá will talk about Rubí's transition from village to city. Lluís Garcia Majó will mention the Can Balasch farmhouse, and Ernesto Asensio Sosa will present a 3D digitalization project of Rubí's museum collection, a new way to enjoy the museum. Mr. Guifré Lloses Fontich and José María Llosas Huguet will talk about Catalan migration to Rubí in the 1936 census and will monitor and contextualize the migration phenomenon between 1889 and 1936. Finally, Pere Bel Cano will talk about Ramón Ratés and the Font del Bullidor, the story of an unknown proman from Rubí. The event is open to all interested parties. This seminar will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., led by Joan Anton Catalá Amigó. Space is becoming a driving force of the global economy, with an increasing number of satellites orbiting the Earth, offering diverse services that must be protected by clear and current legislation. The benefits and risks that space exploration can bring will also be discussed, as well as the ethical rules governing human exploration. Organized by the University Extension Classroom of Rubí. This seminar will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., led by Joan Anton Catalá Amigó. The seminar will cover various special missions that have expanded our knowledge of different planets in our solar system: Mars, Saturn and its rings, and Jupiter's moons. Various explorations of Mars with the landing of robots will be presented, and new challenges will be raised to expand our knowledge of our solar system. This lecture will be given on Monday, May 19, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. by Jordina Belmonte Soler, professor of Botany and researcher affiliated with ICTA (UAB). She specializes in palynology and aerobiology and is the coordinator of the Aerobiological Network of Catalonia.

The study of pollen in our environment provides a wealth of information about nature and our health. Pollen is essential for the reproduction of flora, but it is also a source of potential allergies. Another question that will be addressed is how climate change can affect pollen in the air, and therefore, our health. Organized by the Rubí University Extension Classroom (AEUR). Free event.
