02 October 2024

Coinciding with its 70th anniversary, the Vallhonrat Ethnographic Museum Foundation in Rubí is creating the Pere Vallhonrat Short Story Competition in 2024, in honour of the director of this local museum, with the main objective of recovering and disseminating, from a children's point of view, part of the history of some of the objects and pieces that are on display, in any of its areas.

The aim is to encourage students studying 4th year of Primary Education in the city's educational centres to show interest in delving deeper into the search for information, documents, photographs and/or local collections in the educational and cultural field.

The jury will award the most complete story based on its creativity and most original ending. They will take into account the story and the main plot, the language and vocabulary, the expository ability, the accurate presentation, spelling mistakes, the syntax when writing the story, among other criteria.
