Olmec. The “mother culture” of Mesoamerica
On Thursday, February 8 at 6:00 p.m. the AEUR Rubí has organized this conference by Fransesc Bailon Trueba. The Olmec civilization, which developed more than 3,000 years ago, is considered by historians to be the mother of Mesoamerican cultures. This civilization stood out for its great advances such as, for example, the calendar, writing, epigraphy, as well as the famous Mesoamerican ball game. Ruby from town to city?
Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at 7 p.m., the conference will be held by Josep Milà i Albà, architect from the UPC and former director of the Territorial Services Area of Rubí. It will explain to us why we have the Rubí that we have now when its urban planning, especially since 1962 when, after the flood and its subsequent state aid, together with strong immigration, a disproportionate growth began that in many cases produced imbalances in terms of the urban structure of the city. Seminar 1. Caral-Supe, the first civilization of America.
Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 6:00 p.m., this seminar will take place by Fransesc Bailon Trueba, graduate in Cultural Anthropology from the UB. The Caral-Supe culture, which developed about 5,000 years ago, is currently considered the oldest civilization in America. It is one of the most famous “mother cultures” of the Andean area. Its engineering works, its scientific development and its political, social and religious organization served as a legacy for other pre-Columbian cultures that followed. Thursday, December 14, 2023, AEUR has organized this seminar by Francis Casado, computer engineer and serial entrepreneur since 2012 when he launched his first Startup Mobile Content S.L. which markets the 3D Digital Venue platform. We will explore the repercussions of some technologies, virtual reality, mixed reality and augmented reality, and their impact on our Society.

History of the Museum
The origins of the Ethnographic Museum Vallhonrat of Rubí back to the middle of the last century when Miquel Vallhonrat Brau started in the world of collecting, initially with family pieces from the early eighteenth century. He subsequently received input from customers and rubinenses.
