The Generalitat of Catalonia this year 2019 has awarded the Cross of San Jorge to the Vallhonrat Museum Foundation for the work and dedication to collecting, conservation and exhibition and considers the museum an indisputable cultural reference of Ruby and Catalonia, especially for the protection, the dissemination and promotion of the historical heritage of the city of Vallesana and the country.

The Cross of Saint George is one of the most prestigious guard of the Generalitat behind the Gold Medal.
