Cross of Saint Jordi to the Ethnographic Museum Vallhonrat

Request for the granting of the Cross of Saint Jordi of the Generalitat de Cataluña Ethnographic to Rubí's Vallhonrat Museum, the 55 anniversary of its foundation, and with the fear initiative support of Rubinencs Studies Center, Group of Partners Museum of Rubí.

The Study Centre of Rubinencs, the Grup of Collaborators the Museum of Rubí, with the accession approved by the full City Council Rubí on trading day in March 2015, have been proposed and supported the granting of the Creu de Sant Jordi of the Generalitat of Catalonia ethnographic Museum Vallhonrat Rubí, coinciding with the celebration of the 55th anniversary of its founding.

The Ethnographic Museum Vallhonrat of Rubí, where more than half a century of continuous growth since its foundation, has become the recognized current Vallhonrat Museum, an emblematic architectural environment, which also hosts the Bibliospace with more than 3,000 books to everlasting XVIII and the Auditorium, as a cultural center and exhibition of Rubí.

That collection was born modestly over half a century ago today is cause of pride of the citizens of Ruby and meeting place and culture for search activities, documentation, promotion and dissemination of art and culture in the world, of our country and of our city.
