Conference "100 years of Ribas Schools. Joan Bosch and Martí Tauler (1916-2016).
Next February 17, 2017 Pere Bel will speak to us in commemoration of the centenary of the Ribas Schools, "100 anys de les Escoles Ribes. Joan Bosch and Martí Tauler (1916-2016). The event is free and will be held in the Vallhonrat (c / Sant Pere, 77-79, Rubí).
Recall that the Ribas Schools is the most relevant building of Rubí's modernism. It was built by the architect Emilio Sala and Cortés and founded by the Ribas Regordosa brothers, owners of the textile factory Vapor Nou, with the intention that the children of his workers acceded to the education. None of the three siblings could see the school in operation, since they all died before 1916, when the teaching activity began.
